Meet Our New Co-Presidents!
Having both been active show participants since childhood, CMHA is pleased that Dominique and Natalia de Varona have accepted the position of Co-Presidents for the 2010 show season. There experience as both horse show participants and judges gives them great insight into helping make CMHA better for members and guests alike.
CMHA would like to give a heart-felt THANK YOU to Carolyn Plummer for years of dedicated service making CMHA one of the best open show associations in North Carolina. Carolyn will be offering guidance throughout the transition period as Dominique and Natalia take the reigns.

Next Show Sept. 11th the Exhibitors Show!! Double Points
Our next show is September 11th and is our exhibitors show, we hope to see everyone there. This show is to raise money for yearend awards, so the more people that show the better prizes we can give at the end of the year so bring all your friends. Remember you must show, volunteer, sponsor a class or send a volunteer in your place to be eligible for yearend awards. We will need help with the entry booth, working the gates, passing out prizes and ring mastering. If anyone would be interested in helping or know someone who is please give either Natalia 919-920-7693 or Dominique 919-920-1284 a call so they can plan where they need the most help. Again this is the exhibitors show so we will need help from all exhibitors to make it run smoothly.
Also bring any unused or unwanted stuff to place on the silent auction. The money raised from the aution will also go towards yearend awards. Preferably horse items but anything would work. Please call or email with any questions.

List of what we need help with at the show:
Gate/Ribbon Crew: in the morning and afternoon
Ringmaster: all times
Entry booth: all times
Items for the Silent Auction:
PLEASE NOTE: the October 9th show hosted by Harbor House has been cancled. We were thinking about doing a points only exhibitors show on this date. This would mean that there would be no class prizes and no all-around prizes. The show would be just for points and to increase the amount of money to spend on yearend awards. We would like to poll everyone to see what they think about this idea so please email Natalia horserider111@yahoo.com or Dominique dominiquedevarona@yahoo.com with yes, no or any suggestions.
